Spiritual Warfare Through Prayer
Seeking God Through Prayer Is Spiritual Warfare
Once we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, prayer is the primary way for us to maintain the mind of Christ. Prayer is a demonstration of our faith in God and is the main way for us to conduct spiritual warfare. Our focus in spiritual warfare is on God and not his enemies. We call upon His name, we humble ourselves, we pray, and seek His face (2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"). Jesus and the prophets of the Bible set the example for prayer. Through faith and continuous fellowship with God, the great men of the Bible obtained a good report.

Prayer Is The Way To Win In Spiritual Warfare
Through prayer we shall prosper in spiritual warfare. The prayer that God desires from us comes from the heart. When we delight in prayer and seek God's truth day and night, we will prosper (Psalms 1:2-3, "But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper").

Prayer Equips Us for Spiritual Warfare
Prayer gives us protection and strength to endure in spiritual warfare. Prayer enables us to focus on God and equip us for spiritual warfare. Prayer reveals to us God's truth and righteousness that we need to maintain the mind of Christ. Prayer strengthens our faith enabling us to withstand anything that our enemies may throw at us. Prayer maintains our salvation and our knowledge of God's love. Prayer in conjunction with our continuous study of the Bible fully equips us for spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:14-18, "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;")
