A Good Father Fears God and Delights in God's Commandments
Psalm 112:1. Psalm 112 tells us that there are two qualification for a good father and a blessed man. First, he fears and gives honor to God always, and second that he delights in the Word of God (Psalm 112:1-2, “Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandment”).
Overcoming Temptation by Yielding to God
Romans 6:13. Overcoming temptation is a spiritual battle. It is easy to believe that if we are tempted that we will sin. This is not true. God will not put us in a position where we have no choice but to sin. Now temptation can come from about anything to include a member of the opposite sex, money, drugs, food, alcohol, possessions that we do not have, and so on.

Matthew 12:50. Matthew 12:50 spells out the Christian definition of brethren. It says, “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother”. You are a Christian brethren if you voluntarily do the will of God. The Bible teaches us that God's will is for us is to freely accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Romans 13:1. All of us are concerned about our freedom and rights, but we still need to submit to the power of the Government here on Earth. We may not always agree with our Government, but God has ordained Governments to have power and authority over its citizens. If we unlawfully resist a Government that we think is wrong, we are actually resisting God.

Victory in spiritual warfare comes from us submitting to God. If we totally surrender to God and put our faith in Him, we will have the spiritual power to resist the devil. 1 John 4:15. God has offered all of us the free gift of eternal life. All that is required of us is to accept this free gift, is to confess our sins and acknowledge that Jesus is our Lord and Savior (1 John 4:15, "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.").
Awakening Conscience By Obeying God
Romans 13:5. God is a God of righteousness and a God of Truth. His righteousness demands that we be obedient to Him. His Truth awakens our conscience where we willingly become obedient to Him. As we become more awaken to His truth, we are more led by our conscience to do right in the eyes of God.
