Vanity
Trust Definition - Trust Truth, Not Lies
Isaiah 59:4. The definition of trust is the "reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, and surety of a person or thing". Another way to say this is that trust is all about relying on the promise of what another person or thing can do (what you think they can do). The issue with trust is that people will mistake a promise for a truth. Just because you trust in someone's honesty does not make them honest.
Vanity In A Relationship Is A Sign Of A Bad Relationship
Ecclesiastes 1:2. Ecclesiastes 1:2, says “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.” Vanity consists of no purpose, no reward, and overall trivializes things. A high level of vanity in a relationship is a sure sign of a bad relationship. Signs of vanity in a relationship include a lack of commitment, being self-centered, and having different purposes in the relationship.
Call Evil Good– A Bargain Not Involving Real Value
Proverbs 13:11. Scams involve a proposal or bargain with an evil purpose. A good bargain or proposal is a deal that provides value for both parties. If either party has an evil purpose, it is a scam where at least one of the parties will be scammed. At least one party is calling evil good in a scam. Flee from situations where no value is being exchanged by either party.
