Isaac Feared Not Because He Was the Heir of God’s Promises to Abraham

Genesis 26:24. When we have a relationship with God we need not to fear neither God, man, or anything else. Many people have a good reason to fear God, but not if you are in right relationship with Him. When we are in right relationship with God we are the recipient of his numerous promises and blessing.

To Understand Prophesy You Must be in Fellowship With Other Believers

Zechariah 10:2. We can never understand prophesy if we do not have a relationship with God and we are not in Christian fellowship. Without a relationship with God, we cannot hear true prophecy because there are too many other false prophets that distract us and mislead us. These false prophets are many and can be ministers, advertisers, your friend, celebrities, and outright scammers.

The Bible Tells Us to Try Every Spirit That Gives a Vision or Revelation

1 John 4:2. The Bible is very plain when it comes to giving us advice on determining the validity of visions and revelations. Not every prophet, proclaimer, sage, soothsayer, dream, vision, and so on are of God and are speaking the truth about the future. There is a simple test to determine if someone or a vision is of God or not.

God Gives Us Knowledge That He Can See the Future to Gain Our Trust and Faith

John 16:4. God can see into the future. It is important to Him that we know and have faith that he can see the future. This knowledge that what God says about the future is true becomes the essence of our faith. If we read in the Bible that God promised something and then it becomes true, then this becomes the evidence for our faith in God.

Godliness - Be Cleansed With The Blood of Jesus and Pure Water

Hebrews 10:22. The saying, "Cleanliness is next to godliness”, is not actually a quote from the Bible, but there are scriptures that back up the saying. Hebrews 10:22 talks about having “our bodies washed with pure water”. Cleanliness is important in order to be “next to godliness”, but it takes more than cleanliness and personal hygiene to be godly.

Learning Patience Starts With Having Hope

Romans 15:4. Having hope is a key component in learning patience in our day-to-day lives. The Bible teaches us how to learn patience through having hope in God. Bible characters such as Abraham and David demonstrated both great hope and patience in their lives. Both of them had great faith and hope that God would provide for them and look after them.

The Secret Knowledge and Mysteries of God's Divine Nature

Colossians 2:2. God's divine nature is a complete mystery to most of us. Our knowledge of God is not controlled by us, but by God. He is the source of all knowledge, both revealed knowledge and secret knowledge. Even someone that studies God for years will only know what God has revealed to that person and mankind.
