Proverbs 21:1. We may think that governments, presidents and kings have supreme power, but it is God’s sovereign will that rules supreme. Governments, kings, and rulers may think and act contrary to God, but God is still in control. We may not always understand why God allows certain things to happen, but it is his will.
Zechariah 13:1. A revival is a time of cleansing for Christians. When we enter into God’s presence during a revival, we cannot be anything but cleansed of our sin. God’s holiness and grace overcomes us and cleanses us of our sin. A true Christian revival causes us to be refreshed and renewed as a result of being in the presence of God’s holiness.
Jeremiah 17:8. The Bible tells us that if we trust God, he will sustain us and have us prosper. Jeremiah 17:8, says “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.” We are blessed and will prosper if we will just trust God versus just relying on ourselves for our sustainment and prosperity.
James 1:6. Prayers are answered for those that have faith in God’s promises and power. If a person believes today and not tomorrow, then their prayers will not be answered. People that waiver in their faith are doubled-minded like the waves of the sea that go up and then down (James 1:6, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.
Titus 3:5. Because we are all sinners, we must all ask God for mercy to restore and to have an eternal relationship with God. None of us our perfect and we all fall short of the glory of God. For us that are religious, it is easy to start thinking that by our righteous works that we can be in right standing with God. No, this is not the answer to our salvation.
John 7:38. Everyone that has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior shall be filled with the Holy Spirit. John 7:38-39 says, “He that believeth in me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Acts 8:39. The Holy Spirit has the power to physically move people great distances. In Acts 8:39 the Holy Spirit transported Philip many miles after Philip had ministered to the eunuch (Acts 8:39, “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing”).
1 Corinthians 3:8. God has a plan that guarantees work success. This is a master plan designed by God. Whether we know it or not God desires for all us to participate in His plan, His purpose. He created us for His purpose. From God's perspective, work success is not measured by individual success, but by how faithfully and diligently we participate in God's plan.
Song of Solomon 8:7. True love can withstand any adversity and any temptation. True love is a bond between two people that cannot be broken. Many relationships fail in hard times, but true love is there when finances are low, in sickness, when disaster hits, and when there is no reason to hope. True love is not only there in times of hardships, but also in times of temptation.
