Genesis 3:20. Adam and Eve are the mother and father of all humanity. At the end of the six days of creation, they were the only humans who were created directly by God. In Genesis 1:28 God told them “…Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth …”. God had made them male and female (Mark 10:6: “But from the beginning of creation, “God made them male and female”).
2 Chronicles 7:14 Christians prepare for a revival with God in the same manner that God has instructed those before us. This is well documented in the Bible, specifically in 2nd Chronicles 7:14. Here God instructed Solomon in regard to the temple and what the Israelites needed to do to be in right relationship with him.
Exodus 3:13. When Moses had an encounter with God at the burning bush, Moses was full of excuses on why he could not fulfill his calling. His second excuse to God at the burning bush was that he lacked knowledge to do what God told him to do. God had commanded Moses to talk to the children of Israel and tell them what God had told Moses in regard to their deliverance out of Egypt.
1 John 4:2. The Bible is very plain when it comes to giving us advice on determining the validity of visions and revelations. Not every prophet, proclaimer, sage, soothsayer, dream, vision, and so on are of God and are speaking the truth about the future. There is a simple test to determine if someone or a vision is of God or not.
Exodus 20:7. Below are some reasons not to take the Lord's name in vain.
Colossians 3:17. Many of us seek self-control, but Jesus is the only true way to self-control. He is the only human that has walked on this Earth and was perfect. He had perfect self-control. He had no sin in Him. He was perfect and had no sin in Him because besides being human He was God walking on this Earth. He came here to save us from our sin and from being out of the will of God.
Genesis 11:4. A free, democratic Government is good, but what about freedom and a Government that is without God? The people that built the Tower of Babel provide a great lesson of what is wrong with a free people and Government that is without God.
2 Kings 5:11. It is in our human nature to come up with good excuses not to obey God. One of the most subtle excuses we can give when God calls us is to say that “this is not God's way”. The Bible has many examples where people resisted God's calling because they had preconceived ideas about God.
Genesis 3:20. Eve was the first mother. Her name means "life, living, life-spring". She is the mother of all of mankind. Without children, a mother is not a mother. The definition of a mother is defined as "a woman in relation to a child or children to whom she has given birth".
Romans 1:5. Faith is the cornerstone to receiving God’s saving grace. Our faith and love of Jesus Christ brings God’s grace. Our faith and love in Jesus Christ also brings our willing obedience to serve God. God’s unmerited love, as expressed through Jesus Christ, births a faith in us that enables us to receive God’s saving grace.
