1st John 4:16, “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”

What Is The Love That God Has Shown Us?

What Is Love Not?

Love is never inpatient, mean, envies, prideful, short-lived, or self-serving. Love is patient, kind, generous, humble, courteous, unselfish, good temper, righteous, and sincere. 1st John 2:5 advises us of how true love can be perfected in us.

1st John 2:5, “But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him”.
