What is the Kingdom of Heaven? We Are All Subjects of This Kingdom But We Are Not All Children of the Kingdom

Jesus is clear that the kingdom of heaven exists now and that we are all subjects of this kingdom. All of us may not be children of the kingdom, but we are all subject to its authority. Matthew 13:41 advises us that the Son of man will use his angels to gather out of his kingdom all things that offend him.

Matthew 13:41, “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;”

What is the Kingdom of Heaven? It is a Mystery to The Unsaved and Salvation to the Saved

It is important to know what is the kingdom of heaven, but for many it is a fruitless pursuit for they will never know the great mystery of the kingdom of heaven. As subjects of the kingdom of heaven we are all under the authority of this kingdom, but for many it will remain a great mystery. In Matthew 13:11 Jesus tells us that it is not for everyone to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 13:11, “He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.”

What is the Kingdom of Heaven? It is a Kingdom That Jesus Will Delivered To His Father

Jesus is the supreme authority of the kingdom of heaven who will in the end times deliver up his kingdom to God. In end times the reign of Jesus Christ will end when all spiritual and earthly powers submit to him. This includes death itself. 1st Corinthians 15:24 tells that in end times Jesus will deliver his kingdom to his father when he shall have put down all rule, all authority, and all power.

1st Corinthians 15:24, “Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.”

What is the Kingdom of Heaven? Its Riches Will Be Inherited By the Blessed of God

Even though we are all subjects of the kingdom of heaven, not all will receive the rich inheritance of the kingdom of heaven. In the end times we will all be divided into two groups (goats and sheep) and one group (the sheep) will receive the inheritance of eternal life and the other (the goats) will receive everlasting punishment. Matthew 25:34 tells us that the blessed shall receive the inheritance of the kingdom that was prepared for us from the foundation of the world.

Matthew 25:34, “Then shall the King say unto them on hi right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:”
